Specs for Knapheide Platforms
Ideal for Contractors, Landscapers, Masons, Lumber Yards, Farms, and Other Applications

Crossmembers:
12" crossmember spacing on all 14' and longer bodies, optional on 12' and less.

11 gauge high strength crossmember features "self-cleaning" corrosion resistant design. 45% stronger than 3" structural steel at 25% less weight.

Side & End Rails:
12 Gauge high strength (10 Gauge equivalent)

Long Sills:

Structural Long Sills with gusseted Crossmembers.
7" standard on 14' and longer
5" standard on 12' and less
4" standard on all 80 series platforms

Sizes:
7' through 24' for all size chassis.

Floors:
Wood Floor of 2" nominal treated #1 grade dense yellow pine, tongue and groove construction. Optional Apitong Available.

Steel floors of 10 gauge high strength smooth steel (3/16" rated) standard. 3/16" actual optional.

Treadplate: 1/8" standard, 3/16" and 1/4" optional.

Features:
Distinctive tail-skirt styling.

Engineered for Hoist and non-hoist applications.

Stake Pockets are 2" X 4" to accept 2" X 4" lumber as well as all model stake racks.

Reflectorized sealed lights in "shock resistant" rubber grommets, including weather tight connectors.

Wide Variety of Sizes, Sides, & Bulkheads Available.

Stake Pocket Bulkhead: Bulkhead Stakes fit Platform Front Stake Pockets Rust resistant Punched Window 11 Gauge High Strength Materials (9 gauge equivalent).
Permanently Installed Bulkhead: Recommended for Platforms with Bulkhead Only 3" Structural intermediate posts secure to Long Sills One-piece Box-section Corner Posts mate to front of Platform Knee-brace gussets weld to underside of platform side rail for added support.
